Sterling Silver Farm
Equine Rescue is
located approximately
10 miles east of the
famous "Silver Springs"
attractions, nestled on a
hilltop with
breathtaking views,
abundant wildlife and
plenty of fresh air. It is
the new home for
horses both rescued and
purchased. The farm is
currently wooded and
we are in the process of
turning some of it into
pastures, some into
riding and training
arenas, some into barn
sites and everything
else that the horses
would need.
Why a Horse Rescue?
A woman once said to
me "Why start a Horse
Rescue ?, there is no
money in it."
I had no reply, I guess it
didn't occur to me that
some people would not
understand that we do
this for the love of the
animals and not for any
monetary gain.
There are already
plenty of Horse
Rescues. . .
Unfortunately, there
aren't enough rescues to
save every horse,
thousands are sent to
slaughter each year.
If we can save but a
handful of these most
wonderous of Gods
creatures, all of our
efforts will be worth it.
